The film begins with a blank, black screen for an entire minute-and-a-half, during which an orchestra is heard tuning up, followed by an audio recording of a lightning storm. After this, the rest of the film reverts between the images of a bride and groom on a bridge in the woods, and a paper print of American Mutoscope and Biograph's 1902 silent slapstick comedy "A Little Piece of String". Whenever the bride and groom make there appearance, a canned sound effect of applause is heard. —Tornado_Sam
